Navigating parcelSync
Navigation in parcelSync is consistent and designed for ease of use. Two elements are always visible across all pages (Home, Tracking, & Dashboard): the Top Bar and the Left Sidebar Menu.
Top Bar (Header Navigation)
The top bar runs across the top of every page and contains key actions:
- Collapse Menu Icon (top-left corner)
- Toggles the visibility of the left sidebar navigation menu.
- Useful for maximizing screen space, especially on smaller displays.
- Search Bar (top-right)
- Searches for packages by tracking number or client-specific order number.
- Enter the number and press the blue arrow button to run the search.
- Always available on all pages for quick access.
- Theme Toggle (sun/moon icon, top-right)
- Switches between light mode, dark mode, and system (matches your device settings).
- Applies immediately across all screens.
- User Profile Icon (user initials, top-right)
Opens account-level options and settings. Available actions include:
- Settings:
- User Settings: Manage your account preferences like name, email, 2FA, username, and password.
- Business Settings (Visible for Super Admin & Admin Roles Only): Invite new users, manage roles, and update the business name.
- Log Out: Ends your session and returns you to the login page.

Left Sidebar Menu (Main Navigation)
The sidebar provides primary navigation across parcelSync:
- Accounts Dropdown (top of sidebar)
- Displays all accounts available to the logged-in user.
- The first account in the list is automatically selected by default.
- Users can manually select one or more accounts to view data from.
- When additional accounts are selected, the first (default) account remains selected unless unchecked by the user.

- Home - Shipment overview and visual summaries.
- Tracking - Package-level search and visibility.
- Dashboard - Delivery analytics and performance reporting.
