    Users & Permissions Management

    parcelSync gives each client organization full control over who can access the platform and what level of visibility they have. This is managed by the Client's Super Admin and any designated client Admins.

    Roles & Access

    • Client Super Admin
      • First client user who is registered via an APC email invite.
      • Manages all user access, account assignments (if applicable), permissions, and role promotions/demotions.
      • Can invite additional users from their organization.
    • Client Admin
      • Can invite users, assign user-level permissions, and manage account access.
    • Client User
      • Can log in and view only the accounts and features assigned to them.

    Managing Users (Client Super Admin or Admin Only)

    • Navigate to Settings from your user initials in the top right corner, then click on Business Management.
    • To invite a new user, click “Invite User,” enter their first and last name, email, role, and then click “Send Invite.”
    • To update an existing user, click their name to open the User Profile:
      • Use the pencil icon to open the action panel, where you can:
        • Enable/disable account status
        • Change Role (Super Admin, Admin, User)
        • Assign additional accounts
      • Update the Business name via the “Update Details” tab.

    Assigning User Accounts

    • Link each user to one or more APC accounts (if applicable).
    • Use the action panel to assign accounts individually.
    • Accounts can be toggled on/off at any time without deleting the user.

    Page-Level User Permissions

    Super Admins/Admins can toggle access to elements of parcelSync's core sections:

    • Dashboard: Delivery Summary Report, Delivered Package Report
    • Tracking
    • Financial Data: Controls visibility of sensitive rate fields in UI and exports

    User Management Permissions

    Super Admins/Admins assign or restrict advanced permissions, including:

    • Assign Accounts
    • Basic Access
    • Set Page Access
    • Enable/Disable Accounts
    • Promote to Admin/Demote Admin
    • Promote to Super Admin/Demote Super Admin
    • Set Billing Admin
    Best Practices
    • Maintain at least one Super Admin and Admin in your organization.
    • Review user access quarterly to ensure user roles and permissions are up to date.
